Arranging Your Surgery

You are very welcome to call the clinic or e-mail us with any questions prior to your procedure.

The surgeon will either e-mail or call you back to discuss your query or concern. No question is too minor to ask.

Medical Insurance Authorisation

Once surgery has been decided and we have agreed a suitable date, we will email you a booking form that contains all the details you require to inform your insurer. This will ensure authorisation for the procedure and is usually very straightforward. Nearly all UK insurance companies will require your procedure to be authorised. Your insurer will probably ask you for the following information, although this varies by insurer so please check in advance.
  • The Hospital – The BMI Weymouth Hospital, or the BMI Princess Margaret Hospital, Windsor
  • The Surgeon – Mr Martin Logan
  • The Anaesthetist – Dr Jill Pattison at Princess Margaret Hospital and The Wellington / Dr Claire Edkins at Woking Nuffield
  • The name of the procedure
  • The Procedure Code
  • Estimated length of stay
